Job summary

Woh Hup Group in Singapore seeks an M&E Quantity Surveyor to manage cost and contractual matters on main and sub-contracts across projects.

You will handle progress payment claims, tender activities, budgets, cost control, procurement, and final account settlement, with pre- and post-contract administration and tender support.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of M&E Quantity Surveying experience.
• Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details.
• Experience in civil infrastructure project is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare progress payment claims, variation orders, project budgets and cost control; settle final accounts.
• Perform pre- and post-contracts administration and control.
• Conduct survey works during project tender stage.
• Produce pre-tender estimation, tender documents and maintain project documents.
• Source suppliers and request for quotations.
• Conduct tender exercises including bidder selection, tender documentation, evaluation and contract award.

Job description

The M&E Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all cost and contractual issues on main contract as well as sub-contracts connected to the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Responsible for preparing progress payment claims, variation orders, project budgets & cost control and settlement of final account.
• Responsible for pre- & post-contracts administration and control.
• Conduct survey works during project tender stage.
• Produce pre-tender estimation, preparation of tender documents and maintenance of project documents.
• Source for suppliers and request for quotations.
• Conduct tender exercise such as selection of bidders, tender documentation, evaluation of tender submission and award of contract to successful bidder.

• Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to the relevant team.
• Ability to make correct decisions quickly.
