LY STRUCTURE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Woodlands, Singapore, seeks a Quantity Surveyor with strong cost estimation and tendering skills. The role focuses on take-offs, supplier quotations, contract documents, progress claims, and site liaison.

The candidate should hold a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years of local experience, excellent communication, and an independent, proactive work style.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying is required.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Singapore related field.
• Preferably in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Must be meticulous, committed, proactive and a creative thinker.
• Good communication and presentation skills; sense of urgency.

Responsabilités

• Quantity take off and cost estimation based on technical details, drawings, and specifications.
• Sourcing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate quotations for competitive pricing.
• Assist in tender and contract documents.
• Prepare and submit progress payment claims and variation orders.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with cost consultant.
• Measure and value work done on site.
• Evaluate and certify supplier/subcontractor claims.
• Finalise and close out project accounts.
• Estimation of quantities and cost comparisons of sub-contractors quotations.
• Reply to sales enquiry; prepare sales quotation.
• Prepare project subcontract; prepare bills of quantities.
• Approve sub-contractors’ claims; establish progress claims with client agreement.
