CHINA CONSTRUCTION (SOUTH PACIFIC) DEVELOPMENT CO. PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage costs, obtain quotations, and coordinate procurement between site and HQ. The role emphasizes measurement, variation orders, bids, and contract administration on major projects.

Candidates should have a degree or diploma in engineering or QS discipline with 5+ years in large main-construction companies, and a proven track record in negotiations and claims under PSSCOC forms of contract.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering/Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or its equivalent.
• 5+ years experience as QS in main-construction companies.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders.
• Familiar with claim substantiation, cost impact assessment, delay analysis, and negotiation of claims under PSSCOC forms of contract.
• Preferable experiences in large-scale Condominium/HDB projects.
• Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving, proactive, and a good team player to meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison and manage project costs effectively.
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
• Coordinate procurement related process between site team and HQ support.
• All other QS related job
