Job description

• Location: Town
• 5 days work week
• Experience in Developer is a MUST

Responsibilities

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents for construction projects
2. Negotiating and administering construction contracts, including variations and claims
3. Monitoring project budgets and financial performance, providing regular updates to clients
4. Advising on cost planning, procurement strategies and contract administration
5. Attending site meetings and collaborating with project teams to resolve issues
6. Providing expert quantity surveying advice and support throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the developer/consultancy sector
2. Thorough understanding of construction contracts, cost management and quantity surveying principles
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and project teams
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
5. Proficient in the use of relevant quantity surveying software and tools
6. Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
