Responsibilities:
Manage and submit progress claims, variation orders, and extensions of time (EOT) to the Main Contractor in accordance with contract timelines.
Lead the drafting, negotiation, and finalization of subcontractor agreements and accounts.
Address and resolve contractual issues with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Oversee project cost estimation, budgeting, and ongoing cost control to ensure financial targets are met.
Prepare cost comparisons and make procurement recommendations for senior management review.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Drive the preparation and submission of variation claims and EOT requests, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with contract terms.
Compile and present detailed financial reports, including cost forecasts and cash flow analysis.
Maintain a clear and organized record of contracts, claims, and procurement activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders—consultants, subcontractors, and clients—on all contractual and financial matters.
Ensure all work complies with local building regulations, contract conditions, and internal policies.
Proactively identify and manage financial and contractual risks across project stages.
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 8–10 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction sector, preferably with an A1 main contractor in Singapore.
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and cost control processes.
Proficient in using quantity surveying and contract administration software.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical mindset with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
