Job summary
A leading construction firm is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead contract administration and ensure timely project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantity surveying and extensive experience managing contracts, alongside strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the quantity surveying team in contract administration to ensure quality and timely delivery of assigned tasks.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors to achieve favourable pricing and terms.
- Participate in project tender processes while leading the team in tabulating quantities and pricing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and amendments.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets; track changes in construction specifications, design and works; manage variations and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Administer progress claims, back-charges, variation orders, indemnity warranties, final accounts, and collections.
Execute acurate and timely management reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building Construction / Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying or contract administration in a similar role within the construction industry, with at least 4 years working for a main contractor being advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts with good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Meticulous and analytical with excellent negotiation, communication and leadership skills.
