Job Description for Senior QS

1. To report to the Commercial Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart.

2. He/She is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

3. The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Call the tender for GMP Architecture Trade

• Quantities Take off and Evaluation on the Archi Trade

• Coordinate with Architectural, Civil, Structure teams for the all the related VO evaluation and Submission Related to Architectural Part

• Preparing RFQ's and forwarding it to relevant subcontractors / suppliers / agents.

• Preparing BOM, analysis reports and comparative statements.

• Do the VO Evaluation claimed by Subcontractor.

• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the Commercial Manager which are necessary for the execution of the project.

Requirements:

• Minimum a recognized diploma above in Architecture Engineering disciplines.

• At least 10 years of working experience in building and construction projects on Architecture aspects

• Working knowledge in Singapore Code, C&S & Architecture design and material selection etc.

• Good communication skills

• Skilled for VO evaluation and negotiation.
