Job summary

Job description

  • To assist Project Manager & QS Manager in the pre-contract or post-contract of fast-track projects
    Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
  • Prepare tenders, measurement and preparation of bills of quantities and quotations for both civil and building projects
    Ensuring accurate measurement of quantities to assist in the preparation of progress payment claims, variation order claims and payments to subcontractors and suppliers including all final accounts. Maintenance of proper documentation of events at site for variation order / Extension of Time (EOT) claims
  • Involved in budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payments, settlement of final accounts and variation orders.
    To participate, work closely and give support to safety team on all initiatives and matters relating to Safety and Health
    To comply with the Company Safety Management System and the Workplace Safety & Health Act (WSHA) and its subsidiary legislation

RequirementsPossess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent with minimum 3 years’ of relevant working experience preferably in a construction firm
Knowledge of the market updates, construction cost trend, construction methods and materials will be added advantage
