About the role

As a Quantity Surveyor at QS Consultants Pte Ltd, you will play a vital role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects in the West Region. This full-time position requires you to utilise your expertise in cost control, contract administration, and project management to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects

• Negotiating and managing contracts with contractors and subcontractors

• Monitoring project costs and identifying areas for cost savings

• Providing advice on contractual matters and resolving disputes

• Preparing progress reports and financial statements for clients

• Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction management field

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

• Proficient in cost estimation, contract administration, and project management

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Familiarity with construction laws, regulations, and industry standards

• Able to guide a team of QS in running of projects
