Job description

Connect Energy is partnering with one of the renowned consultancy firms in the energy sector to look for this position to work on their upcoming projects in Singapore and overseas.

Responsibilities
  • To manage and provide advice on projects from pre-award to award and monitor contractual issues during execution.
  • To work closely with the Project Manager to administer the contract terms and conditions.
  • Assist the project team in reviewing contractors' documentation and establishing gap analysis documents (technical & commercial) to highlight discrepancies/shortfalls between contractor documentation and clients' requirements.
  • Review and monitor project correspondences received and advise on any problems, along with the identification of any changes/additions/deletions to the contract.
  • Lead in tender preparation/management until award.
  • Prepare cost estimation, evaluate variations, and valuation of progress claims.
Requirements
  • Min. 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in QS or civil engineering.
  • Experience in Infrastructure/LNG/Oil Storage Terminal/Gas Pipeline projects is an advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with construction/project management.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC (EPC) and PSSCOC (D&B).
  • Willing to work in the western part of Singapore.
