Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost comparisons, obtain quotations, and handle contract negotiations. Candidates should have a degree in Building and at least 5 years of experience in main-contracting companies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5 years and above experience as QS in main-con companies or building projects.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation and contract administration.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison.
• Obtain quotations, liaise, and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, and final accounts.
