Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, negotiate purchase agreements, and assist with contract administration. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in major works and conservation projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in major A/A works, underpinning works, and conservation projects will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Source and obtain quotation, including negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyse and evaluate prices for comparison and budget costing summary reporting.
• Liaise with consultants and prepare main progress claim/payment and variation order claim.
• Process progress payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist Project Manager on contract administration including maintaining site records.
