Job Descriptions:
- Manage all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, tender documents, and procurement strategies.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and conduct tender evaluations and negotiations.
- Administer contract conditions and ensure compliance with terms.
- Monitor project expenditures and prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Handle progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
- Provide contractual advice and support on dispute resolution, claims, and risk management.
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure cost control and project efficiency.
- Lead and mentor junior QS team members.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of QS experience in construction or related industry.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in construction cost estimation software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
