We're looking for a high‑calibre Senior Quant Trader to join our quantitative crypto trading firm. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in high‑frequency trading (HFT), particularly within the cryptocurrency markets. You will be responsible for either building out your own market‑making strategy framework or optimizing our existing strategies to increase profitability and provide better liquidity across various crypto exchanges.
Strategy and Research: Develop, implement, and optimize market‑making and liquidity provision strategies for a variety of digital assets. Conduct research on market microstructure, latency optimization, and new opportunities.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of quantitative researchers, developers, and traders. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Execution and Risk Management: Oversee the performance of our trading systems and strategies. Monitor and manage all aspects of risk, including market, credit, and operational risks.
System Development: Work closely with our engineering teams to enhance trading infrastructure, improve execution efficiency, and reduce latency.
Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with crypto exchanges and key market participants to secure new opportunities and partnerships.
5+ years of experience in quantitative trading. Proven track record in HFT and/or market making, specifically in crypto markets.
Deep understanding of machine learning, AI, probability and statistics, and machine learning. Ability to apply these principles to solve complex trading problems.
Expertise in cryptocurrency markets, including an understanding of various digital assets, blockchain technology, and regulatory landscapes.
Strong programming skills, with a preference for C++ & Python. Experience with low‑latency system design and a solid understanding of market data protocols and exchange APIs would be a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
