Job summary

AIR ENERGI GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a (Senior) Quality Engineer with lab metallurgy experience to ensure aerospace quality per AS9100/ISO9001. You will develop procedures, investigate non-conformances, and support audits across supplier, customer, and internal quality functions.

The role requires hands-on metallurgical lab work, root cause analysis, and experience with standard quality tools to drive continuous improvement in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on metallurgical laboratory experience, including material evaluation, metallurgical analysis, and failure investigations.
• Experience with FMEA, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis, and CAPA.
• Experience in aerospace quality requirements and audits.
• AS9100 and/or ISO9001 knowledge or exposure.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience in aerospace or other highly regulated industries.

We are representing our client in the Aerospace industry to hire for a (Senior) Quality Engineer with experience in Lab Metallurgy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support customer, supplier, and internal quality activities and audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Operations to resolve quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain AS9100/ISO9001 compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Quality Engineering experience in aerospace, precision manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
• Hands-on metallurgical laboratory experience, including material evaluation, metallurgical analysis, and failure investigations.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis, and CAPA.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.

• Experience conducting internal, supplier, or process audits.
• Exposure to aerospace special processes such as Heat Treatment, Plasma Coating, and NDT.
