Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage end to end effort for the development and deployment of new production processes and equipment for quality responsibilities.

  • Develop the inspection planning, CMM and other inspection gaging requirements.

  • Validation of CMM/auto-inspection programs for optimization.

  • Identify and design inspection methods for production processes with the goal of process capability and operator feedback

  • Maintain and control process documentation of production processes.

  • Work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop gauging and systems to support product conformance.

  • Troubleshooting and continuous improvement of inspection processes.

  • Develop paperless shopfloor documentation systems.

  • Assist production in the prove-out and debugging of new processes.

  • Follow prescribed work rules and safety standards.

  • Take ownership of project goals and objectives to ensure project success

Qualification and Education Requirements
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Material)

  • At least 5 years’ of relevant working experience.

  • Knowledge of CMM, auto-inspection method, inspection tooling and metrology technology and ANSI Y14.5 blueprint reading

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities

  • Develop and manage a project from concept to implementation

  • Analyze information and solve problems quickly

  • Experience with metrology standards and equipment

  • Demonstrate high level of attention to details
