Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a QC Specialist to provide technical support for QC activities on new projects. You will lead method validation, transfer and equipment introductions, ensuring GMP compliance and collaboration with global QC and MSAT teams.

The role supports transition to lifecycle management. The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in QC/analytical labs, strong GMP knowledge, and hands-on analytical method experience, with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, life sciences or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years’ experience in QC or analytical laboratory.
• GMP principles and laboratory quality systems knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with analytical methods and laboratory investigations.
• Experience coordinating method validation, verification or transfer activities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Leads method validation, development, verification, transfer and new equipment introduction.
• Provides expertise and consultation to projects on QC matters to ensure compliance to regulations.
• Ensures timely implementation of projects with full regulatory compliance.
• Keeps up-to-date on QC method/technology developments to maximize digitalization and automation.
• Collaborates with QC stakeholders to develop analytical transfer plans, validation master plans and budgets.
• Writes/reviews change controls, deviations, CAPAs and GMP documents (SOPs, protocols, reports).
• Ensures spendings stay within project target budget.
• Performs testing to adhere to test release and project plans.
• Respects on-site safety and SEHSS policies.
