Job summary

A precast manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Senior QC Engineer to oversee quality control operations and ensure compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, at least 5 years of senior experience in the precast industry, and good knowledge of quality assurance in Singapore's construction sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior role in the Precast Industry or HDB projects in Singapore.
• Strong understanding of quality control in the Singapore Construction Industry.
• Willingness to work at Pontian, Johor as needed.

Job description

Senior QC Engineer (Precast manufacture)

Assist the Management in developing, maintaining and improving quality of product.

To implement QAQC procedure and ensure the PQP is in line with the project quality standard.

To lead, supervise and guide QC Team on their daily task.

To ensure the compliancy of QAQC requirement in coordinating with Production & Logistic team for post-concreting & pre-delivery inspections

To carry out precast panel inspection at required various stages (post-pour & pre-delivery).

To liaise with Engineer & RTO for scheduled or unscheduled inspection.

To co-ordinate and assist the Production Team on quality matters.

Oversees the daily QAQC operations and ensure the production is compliance to the requirements.

Shall involve actively in scheduled or unscheduled inspection & report work progress accordingly.

To ensure all employees, including sub-contractors and suppliers are complied with company’s QAQC procedures.

To identify problems associated with quality control and highlight to the superior.

To understand the repeated defects and find the root cause and solve the issue at root.

Liaise with Singapore main contractors and government authorities ie HDB, LTA etc if needed.

To carry out work task as assigned by Management and work towards the company’s KPI and objective.

Requirements:

Min Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering from university which recognized by the Professional Engineers Board

At least 5 years’ working experience as Senior role in the Precast Industry or HDB construction project in Singapore

Good knowledge and understanding on quality control in the Singapore Construction Industry

Willing to work at Pontian, Johor as and when needed
