Job summary

ARTEMIS EXECUTIVE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks a QA/QC Manager in Singapore to support the Project Execution Plan development, review and implementation. You will coordinate with Managers and Engineers to align the PEP with CEP schedules, review subcontractor quality systems, and prepare ITPs and client submissions.

You will maintain quality records, coordinate lab testing, witness concreting activities, and ensure site QA/QC compliance while promoting quality awareness among the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant quality management experience on Building projects.
• Operational experience in applying quality management principles in construction.
• Communicate clearly and concisely.
• Competent user of in-house software, with broad software knowledge.
• Able to work on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to the QA/QC Manager for development, implementation, review and revision of the PEP and attachments.
• Interact with other Managers and Engineers to implement and coordinate the PEP and attachments.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of the PEP and provide reports on quality performance and areas of improvement.
• Review subcontractor/supplier quality systems.
• Report on quality-related matters to the QA/QC Manager, including monthly summary reports.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) in accordance with CEP schedule.
• Prepare Document Submissions for client approval.
• Coordinate Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) with CEP schedule.
• Compile and receive Material certificates and test reports from Suppliers.
• Coordinate with testing laboratories for Material Testing and witnessing.
• Compile and maintain quality records (RFI, NCR) and verify as necessary.
• Coordinate on-site QA/QC activities, ensure correct concrete grades, witness sampling and slump tests.
• Conduct site verification of construction drawings, procedures, inspections plans, etc.
• Quality surveillance to site and raise NCRs or observations as applicable; investigate and report to Quality Manager.
• Responsible for Architectural quality inspection, material verification, and quality documentation.
• Promote quality awareness with project personnel.

• Compile and receive relevant Material certificates and test reports from Suppliers.
• Coordinate with relevant testing laboratories for Material Testing and witnessing.
• Compile and maintain quality records e.g. Request for Inspection (RFI) and verify as necessary.
• Coordinate on-site quality assurance and control activities e.g. receive and ensure the correct concrete grade and type is delivered to respective area and structure, witness concrete sampling and slump test with QPS (client engaged supervision team).
• Conduct site verification of construction drawings, procedures, inspections plans, etc. being used by construction personnel.
• Quality inspection surveillance to site and raise an NCR or Quality observation whichever is applicable if there are quality issues onsite. Conduct an investigation for any NCRs and submit the report to Quality Manager for review prior to issuance to the relevant party.
• Responsible for Architectural quality inspection, material verification, and quality documentation.
• Promote quality awareness with project personnel.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant quality management experience on Building projects is a must.
