Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a QA/QC Engineer to implement and monitor Quality Management Systems for MRT projects. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Civil Engineering, at least 4 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in QA tracking tools. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with LTA standards

• Conduct material inspections, method statement reviews, and witness site tests (e.g., concrete cube tests, rebar inspections)

• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection checklists, and test reports

• Liaise with consultants, REs/RTOs, and subcontractors for inspection & approval processes

• Perform internal audits and support external audits by LTA or ISO bodies

• Monitor non-conformances and ensure proper corrective/preventive actions are taken

• Review construction drawings and raise technical queries where necessary

• Ensure that site workmanship complies with construction drawings and approved method statements

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 4 years QA/QC experience in MRT or infrastructure projects

• Familiar with LTA QA/QC processes, inspection procedures, and documentation standards

• Strong understanding of ERSS, RC structure, D-wall, and tunnel construction

• Good communication skills and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary site teams

• Proficient in MS Office and relevant QA tracking/reporting tools
