Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, software testing or test automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language/test case management/issue tracking software.
• Hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer or software developer in test in semiconductor equipment or high-tech environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Travel up to 10–25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, document, and improve software test suites.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software in simulation and on physical equipment.
• Analyze functionality of designs, provide feedback on quality and performance.
• Automate and streamline QA processes to integrate with CI/CD workflows.
• Utilize existing quality standards and procedures with business processes.
• Develop and implement new quality standards and procedures for software engineering.
• Learn system operation including mechanical, electrical, and software function.
• Create and manage test plans and test cases for validation of enhancements and fixes.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to test, define enhancements, or quality improvements.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
