DBS Bank Ltd, a leading financial services group in Asia, seeks a Software Test Engineer to shape the future of software quality and digital testing. You will convert BDD scenarios into automated scripts for Android, iOS, web apps, and REST APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality releases.

You will design and execute test cases, build automated suites, and continuously improve testing tools and processes to drive robust digital banking

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in web and mobile banking solutions.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, Playwright (Java), Pytest (Python), and JUnit.
• Solid understanding of modern test automation framework design and best practices.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Experience in developing complex SQL queries for data validation and testing.
• Experience in REST API and web service testing; knowledge of SoapUI or similar tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and commonly used UNIX commands.
• Working knowledge of Git and Bitbucket or other source-control tools.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into end-to-end test scenarios.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and the software testing lifecycle.
• Experience with engineering and delivery tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Experience with testing technologies such as Cucumber, Appium, Selenium, Playwright, or Xcode UI Testing.

Responsabilidades

• Advocate a strong quality culture within cross-functional teams and ensure testing best practices are followed.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases for Android, iOS, web apps, and REST APIs across platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Pytest.
• Establish testing as an integral part of the software development lifecycle within cross-functional teams.
• Develop maintainable and reusable automated tests in collaboration with development teams.
• Recommend improvements to testing tools, frameworks, and processes to improve coverage and quality.
• Detect, document, and report defects and ensure timely resolution and closure.
• Apply exploratory testing techniques to identify potential issues.
• Continuously assess opportunities to improve quality, reliability, and performance of apps and services.
