Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer in Singapore to ensure quality and release readiness for its MBU software and related semiconductor metrology platforms. The role covers end-to-end system validation, test automation, AI-assisted quality engineering, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will drive test strategies, automation frameworks, and collaboration with SD, PM, and support teams to maintain high quality and rapid release cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field.
• 5+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience.
• Experience creating test strategies, plans, and release criteria.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases based on requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
• Automate tests and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable release readiness.
• Track quality metrics and communicate risks and trends.
