JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle quality issues arising from market feedback by collaborating closely with factories, suppliers, and engineering teams to identify root causes and drive technical or design-related improvements.
- Lead the investigation and analysis of product and component quality problems; conduct root cause analysis and propose effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Track and ensure the timely implementation and proper closure of CAPAs through cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee management of non-conforming parts and coordinate with suppliers to implement corrective quality improvements.
- Review and assess assembly factory process work instructions, inspection protocols, and test plans for compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- Support and conduct on-site audits, and follow up on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare quality plans, inspection standards, and documentation to meet client and project-specific quality requirements.
- Define and develop appropriate test methodologies and inspection criteria based on product design and manufacturing processes.
- Compile and deliver failure analysis (FA) reports to customers, including detailed root cause findings and recommended corrective actions.
- Apply quality tools (e.g., QC 7 tools, Pareto Chart, Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys, PDCA Cycle) for structured problem-solving and trend analysis.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality records and reports to ensure traceability, compliance, and process stability.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Engineering or related field, preferably in Electronics, Mechatronics.
- Minimum 5~10 years of experience in Quality or Process Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies, including 8D, Fishbone, Pareto, 5 Whys, and PDCA.
- Hands-on experience in component quality control—electronics, electromechanical parts, plastics, or metals.
- Ability to read technical drawings and define inspection standards.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic data analysis; capable of using statistical methods to interpret quality trends.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese (to handle our Chinese supplies/ vendors).
- Capable of preparing technical reports and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with ISO management systems is preferred.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and willing to engage directly in on-site problem solving.
