Job summary

PATHSOURCE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy and operate the ingestion and distributed-storage layer of a large-scale on-premise data platform in Singapore.

This six-month contract offers a chance to lead production APIs, authentication integrations and secure identity propagation, while containerising services with Docker and deploying on Kubernetes. You will work directly with client stakeholders as a senior IC.

Qualifications

• Six years of hands-on backend or platform engineering experience.
• Advanced Python with reusable libraries, packages, SDKs or components.
• Proven API or microservice development experience.
• Strong experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC and identity propagation.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes required.
• Good software engineering practices: testing, VCS, CI/CD, security and documentation.
• Experience deploying services in on-premise or hybrid environments.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with client stakeholders.
• Willingness to commit to a six-to-twelve month contract and travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade platform services and APIs.
• Develop authentication integrations using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Implement identity propagation across distributed components.
• Build and maintain Model Context Protocol endpoints and integrations.
• Containerise services with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes.
• Integrate platform services with data, infra, observability and security components.
• Write automated tests, technical documentation and maintainable deployment procedures.
• Troubleshoot service reliability, security, integration and production-performance issues.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders as a senior individual contributor.
