Job summary

STMicroelectronics Singapore is seeking a Senior PVD Process Engineer to lead metal deposition processes on AMAT Endura platforms, ensuring process stability, film quality and production yield. You will participate in qualification, ramp-up and transfer to high-volume manufacturing, aligning with yield, equipment, and production teams.

You will monitor film thickness, sheet resistance, uniformity, adhesion and stress while driving continuous improvement to reduce cost and cycle time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 5 years PVD experience in metal deposition.
  • Knowledge of AMAT Endura tools and metal deposition processes.
  • Business English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize metal PVD deposition processes on AMAT Endura tools.
  • Support process qualification, ramp-up, and transfer to high-volume manufacturing.
  • Monitor key metrics: film thickness, sheet resistance, uniformity, adhesion, stress, defectivity, yield.
  • Perform tool setup, chamber matching, and baseline process tuning.
  • Troubleshoot excursions, drift, and yield loss; analyze metrology and inline data.
  • Collaborate with equipment, integration, yield, and production teams; drive PM and process stability.
