SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is a joint venture between NXP and TSMC, seeking a Senior Engineer for PVD Equipment Eng. in Thin Film / PVD PM.

You will support PVD tooling, maintenance, and startup activities to ensure production targets and uptime in a multinational, safety‑driven environment. The role requires 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, strong tool knowledge, and the ability to work across shifts.

Qualifications

• Master/ Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge in major PVD tools: AMAT Endura, Centura WxZ, Novellus Altus, Tel Scrubber, Jusung Eureka.
• Basic engineering knowledge including two of: Semiconductor physics, Digital electronics, Wafer fabrication, Pumps and vacuum systems, Electrical wiring, Excel/Office.

Responsabilités

• Support PVD equipment engineering activities to meet operation targets.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement for cost, yield, productivity and uptime.
• Lead new equipment startup and relocations to support production plan.
• Own uptime, wafer scrap, parts management and down-memo reduction for the tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to stabilize daily production.
• Review and optimize maintenance procedures and spare parts provisioning.
• Participate in technology transfer from motherfab and BKMs deployment.
• Update OIs and SOPs to document best practices and training.
