Job description

This is a newly created position to align with the company's goals.

The Public Relations Manager/Marketing Communications Manager oversees marketing communication initiatives for the company, its products, services, and personal branding for shareholders.

Responsibilities include managing events and collateral with internal and external stakeholders, driving internal and external communication plans to maximize return on investment, and working closely with all departments to ensure brand consistency across markets and product lines.

The role involves ensuring marketing campaigns, including social media, meet sales targets, producing high-quality materials on time and within budget, and maintaining good relationships with local and international media (print and online). The manager also manages the property's social media presence and monitors online reviews for appropriate responses.

Key duties include:

  1. Assessing market trends and developments.
  2. Conducting staff performance assessments.
  3. Implementing crisis management plans.
  4. Developing personal effectiveness at a supervisory level.
  5. Managing print production and marketing messages.
  6. Fostering team drive and enterprise initiatives.
  7. Maintaining brand image.
  8. Managing international marketing plans.
  9. Conducting market research.
  10. Managing meetings and product/brand development.
  11. Managing social media platforms.
  12. Running advertising and marketing campaigns.
  13. Organizing press conferences.
  14. Applying critical thinking and analysis.
  15. Solving problems and making supervisory decisions.
  16. Writing proposals.

Additionally, the manager works closely with shareholders to enhance their public image, recommending activities and events aligned with their profiles, company goals, and business interests.

Job Requirements include:

  • A degree in business, media, public relations, communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in public relations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for press releases, speeches, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with journalists, media outlets, and influencers.
  • Experience developing and implementing PR strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and audience engagement strategies.
  • Ability to develop creative PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Proficiency in analyzing PR metrics and using data to inform strategies and measure success.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external parties.
