Job summary

ELSA seeks a Senior Project Planner in Singapore to lead Level 4 schedules for shipyard activities, thruster overhauls, crane repairs, and commissioning. You will manage critical path, milestones, dependencies, and progress updates using Primavera P6 and MS Project, coordinating with multiple stakeholders across engineering, procurement and construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in offshore, shipyard, marine, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
• Proven experience with integrated project schedules, preferably Level 3/4.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6; MS Project is a plus.
• Experience with critical path analysis, progress measurement, float management, and recovery planning.
• Ability to work with OEMs, classification societies, shipyards and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, shipyard, OEM, commissioning, and other stakeholders for progress updates.
• Provide schedule status, milestones, and recovery actions to gate reviews and management.
• Prepare weekly/monthly schedule reports and dashboards for project management review.

Contract Duration : 6 months

• Develop, maintain, and regularly update the integrated Level 4 project schedule covering shipyard activities, thruster overhaul, crane repair, OEM attendance, commissioning, class inspections, and procurement activities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within offshore, shipyard, marine, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
• Proven experience in developing and managing integrated project schedules, preferably at Level 3/Level 4.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential. Experience with MS Project is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in critical path analysis, progress measurement, float management, schedule forecasting, and recovery planning.
• Experience integrating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and inspection activities into project schedules.
• Drydock, vessel upgrade, shipyard, or marine project experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working with OEMs, classification societies, shipyards, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling methodologies, project controls, and schedule management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify schedule risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and attend the shipyard frequently in Singapore as required.
