Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team!
About Our Client:

Our client is a leading one-stop provider of Underground Utilities Infrastructure Construction and Road Works services in Singapore. With expertise in laying and repairing water pipes, high-pressure gas pipes, high-voltage power cables, and more, they play a crucial role in developing and maintaining Singapore's vital infrastructure. The company also excels in road and airfield pavement construction and supplies essential construction materials.

What you'll be doing?

Lead major projects: Oversee end-to-end delivery of SP transmission projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining high quality standards.

Manage key stakeholders: Serve as the main point of contact for SP Group, consultants, and contractors, building strong relationships and effectively communicating project progress.

Provide technical expertise: Offer guidance on underground cable installation, ducting, and commissioning works, ensuring compliance with SP PowerGrid's Code of Practice and safety regulations.

Mitigate risks: Identify potential issues early and lead resolution efforts to keep projects on track and minimize disruptions.

Optimize resources: Develop and manage project budgets, allocate manpower and equipment efficiently, and drive value engineering initiatives.

Mentor your team: Supervise and develop a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Ensure thorough documentation: Maintain comprehensive project records and provide timely updates to senior management and clients on project status and milestones.

Who are they looking for?

Engineering background: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, providing a strong technical foundation for the role.

Proven experience: Bring 8 to 10 years of relevant project management experience, with at least 3 years specifically in SP Power or utilities-related projects in Singapore.

Industry knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of SP Group procedures, utility coordination, and regulatory compliance in Singapore's infrastructure landscape.

Leadership skills: Excel in leading teams, communicating effectively, and managing diverse stakeholders in a complex project environment.

Professional certification: PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Tech-savvy: Familiarity with project management tools and site management software to enhance project efficiency and reporting.

Mobility: Possession of a valid Class 2 or 3 driving license is beneficial for supporting site visits and inspections.
