Summary of Job Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be instrumental in guaranteeing the seamless implementation of the signage programs across the development overseeing the entire process from initiation to conclusion. This role demands an energetic professional with robust project management expertise, a comprehensive knowledge of the signage industry, and the proficiency to foster effective collaboration with both contractors, consultants and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal operation stakeholders, Development team, design consultants and contractors.
- Meeting with operations to discuss their signage needs and objectives
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinating with graphic designers to develop sign designs that meet client’s specifications
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, schedules and records for future reference
- Coordinate and oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality standards, operational briefs and consultant specifications.
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Monitor project costs and expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Job Requirements
- BArch degree Architecture or BSc Building/Construction Management discipline or a similar field.
- Over 10 years of experience in Signage / Signboard project management at a senior level, with a focus on large-scale resort / commercial projects.
- Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies.
- Ideal candidate would have extensive experience with signage design, coordination, fabrication, and installation working with either a signage / wayfinding consultancy or with a signage fabrication contractor.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams to build collaboration and efficiency.
- Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across different departments and companies.
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills, and experience in supervising, training and mentoring staff.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and working with others.
- Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
