Job summary

Mindteck is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead two strategic initiatives: MBH-IFS Cloud integration with SAP S/4HANA and a new aviation platform for Component MRO. You will drive end-to-end delivery, governance, and vendor management in a contract, Singapore-based role.

The role requires 10+ years in ERP/digital transformation and strong leadership, with potential progression into IT leadership. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and aviation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead two strategic initiatives from planning through go-live and stabilization.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager / Program Manager to lead two strategic initiatives: integrating the existing IFS Cloud-based Maintenance By The Hour (MBH) platform with SAP S/4HANA, and implementing a new aviation application platform to support Component MRO and MBH operations.

The role involves end-to-end project delivery, solution governance, system integration, vendor management, and business readiness, with potential progression into a broader IT leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead both projects from planning and solution design through implementation, go-live, and stabilization.

Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.

Establish project governance and coordinate business teams, internal IT, vendors, and implementation partners.

Solution Design & Governance

Oversee solution blueprinting and design with application providers and implementation partners.

Ensure solutions align with business requirements, industry best practices, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Govern business processes covering Component Repair Operations (CRO), MBH, inventory, procurement, finance, and customer service.

Evaluate customization requests and promote standardization where practical.

System Integration

Oversee integration between the new aviation application platform, IFS Cloud, and SAP S/4HANA.

Ensure seamless data flows across procurement, inventory, finance, sales, asset management, and master data.

Manage integration testing and cross-system issue resolution.

Manage software vendors and system integrators against agreed deliverables, timelines, budgets, and contractual obligations.

Oversee SOWs, change requests, deliverable quality, acceptance sign-offs, and warranty management.

Testing & Deployment

Lead data migration, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization.

Ensure user training, business readiness, change management, and operational handover.

Support IT governance, technology roadmap development, and operating model improvements.

Strengthen stakeholder relationships and internal IT capabilities.

Demonstrate the potential to progress into an IT Manager or Head of IT role.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of experience managing ERP, enterprise application, or digital transformation projects.

Proven experience delivering large-scale software implementation and system integration projects.

Strong expertise in project governance, budgeting, risk management, vendor management, and contract/SOW governance.

Experience overseeing ERP solution blueprinting and design.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC 6.0.

Familiarity with IFS Cloud, AMOS, or similar enterprise platforms.

Experience in aviation MRO, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, or asset-intensive industries.

Understanding of CRO, MBH, inventory, procurement, and asset management processes.

PMP, PRINCE2, SAP Activate, ITIL, or equivalent certification.

Ideal Candidate

A commercially minded technology leader with strong project delivery, solution governance, enterprise integration, and vendor management experience. The candidate should be capable of challenging solution designs, delivering business outcomes, and demonstrating the leadership potential to take on broader IT management responsibilities.
