Offshore Solutions Business Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the execution of medium to large size and complex E-House, Oil & Gas, and Offshore Wind projects with international clients. You will ensure all activities comply with ABB’s policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. The work model is Hybrid #LI-Hybrid. This role contributes to the Offshore Solutions Team within the Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB, Singapore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources to meet all project goals.
• Providing leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.
• Supporting local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
• Defining, jointly with the Project Controller, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.

Qualifications for the role

• Highly skilled in managing project teams with the ability to engage and motivate people from diverse cultures.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Engineering, supply chain management, and strong project management skills.
• Enhanced knowledge in handling complex E-house, Electrifications, and Automation projects within Oil and Gas, Offshore, FPSO, etc.
• Degree in Engineering with approximately 15 or more years of project management experience.
• Proficient in English with good collaboration and presentation skills.
