Job description

What the role is:

You will work with various stakeholders (business clusters, land planners, architects, engineers, facility managers) within JTC and Government agencies to plan, design, and develop new industrial estates for JTC, such as Jurong Innovation District, Punggol Digital District, Woodlands North Coast, and one-north. To ensure the estates’ visions are met, you will participate in brainstorming, data gathering, evaluation, and implementation of innovative initiatives in these new industrial estates. You will also lead the design and development of the estates and provide essential information like project briefs to guide team members in executing their tasks.

What you will be working on:

As the senior project manager, you will represent JTC as the Owner's Representative for the mixed-use industrial estate and manage consultants and contractors to safeguard JTC interests. Your responsibilities include: a) Managing all contracts for infrastructure and buildings within the new estates; b) Resolving technical and design issues with consultants and contractors; c) Coordinating with government agencies on development matters; d) Identifying potential construction or contractual issues and providing solutions; e) Ensuring tender documents are comprehensive and meet all requirements; f) Delivering buildings and infrastructure on time and within budget; g) Overseeing project schedule, safety, and site housekeeping; h) Performing administrative tasks related to the development.

What we are looking for:

Candidates should have a background in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture, with at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in consulting or contracting firms.
