Government Solutions Business Unit - Senior Project Manager (One-year contract, renewable)

What will you do?

• Project execution and delivery: Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget, meeting business objectives.
• Presales execution and delivery: Participate in tender bids; own, produce, and submit quality proposals on time.
• Strategic alignment: Align project goals with organizational strategy and long-term vision.
• Stakeholder engagement: Communicate effectively with executives, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Risk and change management: Identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and manage change control processes.
• Budget and resource optimization: Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Performance monitoring: Track KPIs, milestones, and quality metrics for continuous improvement.
• Process improvement and innovation: Drive best practices, process enhancements, and technology adoption.
• Leadership and team development: Mentor and guide teams, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience in the software development industry.
• Solid experience with Singapore government projects, including software development and presales is preferred.
• Proven track record managing government/complex projects from inception to completion, on time, within scope and budget, with quality.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies in software projects.
• Experience managing budgets, headcount, timelines, scope, and supporting software maintenance and development.
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS and Microsoft Azure; familiarity with SGTS.
• Experience with low-code development is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Jira and process diagram tools like Draw.IO or Visio.
• Experience in Machine Learning, Data Analysis, and Transformation is a plus.
• Professional certifications like PMP, CSM, PSM, CITPM, or ITIL are preferred.
• Solid experience as a Scrum Master.
