Job summary

HSBC is hiring a Senior Project Manager (12 months) to own front-to-back delivery of a booking entity change. You will manage scope, schedule, cost and readiness, coordinating across Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Risk, Finance, Operations and Technology to ensure successful cutover and regulatory compliance.

The role requires substantial experience leading complex transformations across Markets & Securities Services, strong stakeholder management, and a proven ability to drive decisions

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager (12 months).

In this role you will:

• -Own front-to-back delivery of a booking entity change, from business requirements and regulatory approvals through operating model implementation, readiness and cutover.
• -Be accountable for scope, schedule, cost, quality, benefits and business readiness, aligned with programme objectives, business priorities and HSBC governance.
• -Maintain the integrated business delivery plan, covering dependencies, milestones, risks, assumptions, issues, decisions and change control.
• -Lead executive engagement and governance, presenting clear options, securing timely decisions and escalating blockers early.
• -Coordinate front-office sponsors and partners across Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Risk, Finance, Operations and Technology, with clear ownership and acceptance criteria.
• -Own financial planning and performance reporting, including forecasts, actuals, variances, risks and required decisions.
• -Hold workstream leads and stakeholders accountable, removing impediments and resolving conflicts that threaten delivery.
• -Ensure regulatory, risk and control compliance, audit-ready evidence, and full operational readiness across people, processes, controls, data, facilities and enabling technology before cutover.

To be successful you will need:

• -Substantial experience leading complex, business-owned, front-to-back transformation across Markets & Securities Services, including front office, Operations, Product Control, Risk and Controls.
• -A strong record of delivering business, regulatory or legal-entity change, with clear understanding of operating model, client, control and implementation impacts.
• -Proven accountability for outcomes across cross-functional and multi-location teams, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, benefits and business readiness.
• -Strong executive stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to frame options, resolve competing priorities and secure decisions.
• -Excellent planning, dependency, financial, risk and change control discipline, supported by clear and concise management information.
• -The ability to define business requirements, maintain business ownership of delivery, and direct Technology and other enabling partners; a degree or equivalent experience is required, while relevant project or change qualifications and HSBC governance experience are advantageous.
