An established industry player is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead the Regional PMO, overseeing project launches and implementations across various service delivery locations. This role demands strategic and operational execution, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while managing a team of PMO leads. As Sr. Project Manager, you will manage the Regional PMO (Project Management Office) that is responsible for all project launches and implementation across all Gear Inc. service delivery locations. You will be responsible for the strategic as well as operational execution of all project agenda as directed by the Head of Business Excellence and/or members of the Gear Inc. Executive leadership team. This is a people leader role that will manage a team of PMO leads.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop best practices and processes on project management to ensure that it aligns with corporate objectives and strategies.
Oversee all project management activities through collaboration with senior management and department/functional leaders and ensure all project timelines are being met at all times.
Provide direction, guidance, support, and development to PMO leads to improve individual performance and competencies
Manage project resource allocations and portfolio of projects and address opportunities and gaps that may cause delays or failure in implementation.
Build solid working relationships across geographies and organizations by managing and executing all stages of any standard and special projects including but not limited to new account launch, new line of business or account ramp, tools implementation, etc.
Define communication strategy to effectively manage communication with all stakeholders and serve as the liaison between the project management team and the executives/senior leaders.
Standardize project management tools and methodology by leveraging both industry and company standards including but not limited to implementation of project risk management framework, budget management, project performance tracking, and documentation and reporting practices
Desired Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
At least 4 years of experience in Operations, Project management, and/or Program Management roles (BPO industry preferred, or relevant industries like Tech, E-Commerce, IT or similar)
Highly analytical; experience with advanced analytics techniques and tools will be advantageous
Can confidently drive engagement with teams located in multiple locations and effectively communicate with different types of stakeholders and clients
PMP, Lean, or Lean Six Sigma certifications highly desired
Ability to travel to Gear Inc. locations globally as needed
