Job description

De ion:

Client's advisor on a major airport development project. He will ensure that the client's objectives for safety, efficiency, sustainability, and value for money are achieved across all phases of planning, design, procurement, and construction. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Manage procurement of consultants and contractors and drive the project design and execution stages. Responsible for technical oversight, and governance support throughout the project lifecycle. Guide the consultants and contractor on airport operational requirements and safe management of construction work within terminal/airport environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the client's lead advisor on a major airport development project, providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and governance support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the principal advisor on all aspects of the airport project.
• Oversee master planning, design, procurement, and construction phases to ensure alignment with client goals.
• Review and challenge outputs from consultants, contractors, and program managers for quality, cost, risk, and compliance.
• Advise on governance structure, procurement strategy, phasing, and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory issues, strategic decisions, and project direction.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, opportunities, and financials to senior client stakeholders.
• Liaise with airport authorities, government agencies, airlines, and community stakeholders as needed.
• Drive integration of sustainability, innovation, and operational efficiency into project execution.
• Support change management, value engineering, and risk mitigation strategies throughout the project.

Requirements:

Good team player, self-motivated with strong multi-tasking abilities and capable of handling fast-paced projects.

Innovative, creative, with good analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and both qualitative and quantitative abilities.

Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Building Services.

Familiarity with project management of phased construction and addition/alteration works within live operations is advantageous.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14000 standards.
