Job summary

Wood is actively recruiting a Project Engineering Manager (ENG-PEM) to join our expanding Singapore operations. You will lead multi-discipline engineering activities on major energy and industrial projects, interfacing with the client and Wood engineering teams to ensure timely, compliant deliverables on-site.

The role demands extensive leadership, strong understanding of engineering procedures, and experience delivering FEED/PMC/EPCM projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline).
12+ years of experience in refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power, or pharmaceutical projects.
Proven leadership in design and engineering teams for FEED, PMC, and EPCM projects.
Strong knowledge of engineering procedures, specifications, and standards.
Ability to lead and motivate multi-discipline teams.
Familiarity with local permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

Act as the project Engineering interface between Wood engineering team and Client.
Oversee timely delivery of engineering work compliant with contract requirements.
Maintain effective communication with Lead Engineers, Client, Project Manager and other stakeholders.
Ensure Discipline Design Instructions are generated timely and meet Quality Plan requirements.
Coordinate with PM, DM and other leads to confirm manpower and budgeting.
