The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing that is centered around each person. In this role, you will collaborate with partners to develop intelligent and autonomous systems that support the clinical and operational needs of EGH, furthering the institution’s mission and vision of transforming healthcare service delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring the smooth operations of the Healthcare Living Lab with the Development Secretariat, established to conduct integration testing and trial new technologies. You will also engage with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the successful and seamless implementation of these innovative technologies within EGH. Furthermore, you will work as part of a team to conduct research and development for the operation of intelligent healthcare systems.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics)
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience, prior healthcare experience is an advantage
  • Good knowledge in robotics/system integration/engineering, as well as electrical/electronic/mechanical circuitry design and PLC/programming
  • Familiar with high power control systems e.g. lift/heavy machineries/robotics
  • Familiar with applicable programming languages and Operating Systems
  • Team player with excellent planning, analytical and communication skills
  • Technical competence and aptitude for design details
  • Ability to engage various stakeholders in a dynamic environment within a growing organisation
  • Capable of working under pressure and adapting to challenging conditions
