About the role

McConnell Dowell is looking for a Senior Project Engineer with marine construction works experience for our project in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective Engineering, Planning, Quality, Survey, Cost Control, and Scheduling functions for the project.
• Adherence to all requirements of the McConnell Dowell Project Execution Plan.
• Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities (attached).
• Assisting Project Manager and Construction Manager with daily site activities.
• Monitoring/reporting site progress (direct employees and subcontract works).
• Formulation of procedures for construction activities.
• Interact with client personnel, and represent McConnell Dowell in a professional way.
• Attendance and contribution to prestart, internal, HSE, and client meetings.
• Adherence to all relevant legislation at work.
• Promotion of MCD Core Values and Safety Culture.

About You

• To be considered for this role, you will have;
• Degree in related engineering discipline.
• 7-10 years of relevant construction works in marine works i.e jetty, pier, wharf, port etc.
• Experience in lifting plans is a must.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work on alternate 6-day work week.
• Transport pick up at Tanah Merah MRT.
