Job summary

GS Engineering & Construction Corp. is seeking a proactive Civil Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on site in Singapore. You will coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors and foremen to keep works on schedule and within quality standards.

You will attend owner and contractor meetings, drive project plans and budgets, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. A degree in civil engineering and WSQ certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent as recognized by PE board.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Construction industry.
• Independent with good communication skills.
• A team player with positive working attitude.
• Highly driven and motivated.
• WSQ Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry, WSQ Manage Work At Height are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of project
• Liaise with Subcontractors, Surveyors and Site Supervisors/Foremen to ensure timely on-site execution
• Attend regular meetings with Owner/Client/Contractors/Subcontractors on project-related matters
• Carry out site inspections and ensure works meet required quality standards
• Create project plans, schedules and budgets
• Manage and mentor Engineers and other team members
• Ensure all works follow safety and industry regulations
