Job summary

hock soon heng e&c pte. ltd. is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to lead and monitor day-to-day engineering project execution in Singapore.

The role requires developing detailed execution plans, tracking timelines, and managing budgets to ensure milestones and technical specs are met. You will review designs and documentation for accuracy and compliance, act as the primary liaison with clients, vendors, and authorities, and implement mitigation strategies for risks and safety hazards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline).
• Minimum of 5–8 years of proven experience in project engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
• Strong track record of delivering complex engineering projects from inception to handover.
• Deep understanding of local engineering standards, building codes, and workplace safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor day-to-day execution of engineering projects to meet milestones and specifications.
• Develop detailed project execution plans, track timelines, manage project budgets, and implement cost-control measures.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, authorities, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project communication and issue resolution.
• Identify potential project risks, engineering bottlenecks, or safety hazards, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all engineering activities adhere to local regulatory standards, building codes, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
