Job summary

Corestaff Pte Ltd seeks a Senior Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming civil projects in Singapore. You will plan, coordinate, and manage construction activities, and lead site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to keep progress on schedule.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering and at least 5 years of civil engineering experience, with strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the civil engineering industry.
• Proactive, hands-on, and strong problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing all construction activities.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure work progresses according to schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities on technical and site matters.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with BCA and WSH requirements.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Prepare progress reports, project documentation, and attend site meetings.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery from start to completion.
