Job summary

CES_SDC PTE. LTD. seeks a qualified Resident Engineer to assist the PD/PM in overseeing construction activities, planning and monitoring schedules, and ensuring progress aligns with the master program. You will review drawings, perform calculations, and prepare shop drawings for approval.

Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, uphold safety and quality on site, and address site matters while supporting supervisors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by PE Board or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in construction supervision for large projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities, planning, implementation, and monitoring of work schedules.
• Review drawings and change orders to verify structural integrity and perform calculations.
• Assist in planning and bidding, reviewing environmental factors, costs, and risk.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials and documents for consultant approval.
• Ensure progress aligns with schedule; maintain quality; conduct site inspections.
• Coordinate site activities with consultants and subcontractors; provide guidance to supervisors.
• Ensure site safety and prepare safe work procedures with safety personnel.
• Check material quality and workmanship and ensure proper use of materials.
• Organise resources/materials and address site matters/complaints.
