An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead and execute various project management duties. This role involves generating project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all project milestones are achieved on time. The successful candidate will have a solid background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, coupled with at least three years of project management experience. Responsibilities:
Execute the project management duties and ensure all key milestones are met within the schedule.
Generate the master project schedule and monitor project execution milestones.
Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to carry out the implementation works of the project.
Monitor respective functions' responsibilities and ensure project milestones are on track.
Coordinate and lead the Factory Acceptance Test with customers and distributors.
Ensure all documentation is agreed and endorsed for delivery.
Schedule and coordinate the on-site testing and ensure a smooth transition to the aftermarket team.
Provide first-level technical support during project execution.
Work with the engineering team on project feasibility studies and assist the Industrial Solution team to generate project cost estimation in terms of project management activities.
Submit a monthly report on the project status to highlight key issues or concerns relating to the project delivery and milestones.
Provide engineering support on 3rd party products and drawings for submission purposes.
Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Work with interplant associates on deliveries, factory tests, and project documentation.
Work closely with the scheduler, customer service team, and production team to update project status in weekly project meetings.
Attend weekly site meetings with the main contractor and consultant if required.
Manage site installation work and ensure completion within the stipulated timeline.
Coordinate and work with subcontractors on site installation work, drawings, and materials submissions.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in project management.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Positive attitude and commitment to tasks.
