Job summary

ENGIE RCS Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate and monitor construction projects from initial concept through schedule and completion on site.

You will plan budgets and timelines, manage technical and management aspects, liaise with consultants and subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and deliver O&M manuals and customer training after handover. This role requires strong coordination and hands-on leadership in data centre construction.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in building construction industry.
• Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to data centre construction.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning and on-site works.
• Assist with project closeout and documentation.
• Plan, schedule, forecast and coordinate technical and management aspects of projects.
• Prepare closeout material, O&M manuals for owners.
• Support site safety documentation and coordination.
• Manage project documentation (MOS, PTW, RA).
• Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Conduct site testing for M&E installations and commissioning.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Senior Project Engineer prepare, coordinate and monitor a project, from the initial conception to the schedule and final completion. The individual is involved with the planning ad forecasting of budgets and timelines to assure that the project is accurately completed to schedule.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in all matters pertaining to project planning and works on site
• Assist the project team with closeout of the project
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, forecasting, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
• Preparing project closeout material, O&M manuals to owner once project is completed
• Assists the project team with site safety documentation and coordination
• Assist the project team with project documenting e.g MOS, PTW and RA
• Understand project plans and specifications
• Manage project and site activities, attend all project meeting and inspection and monitoring of project progress
• Liaising and coordinating with all parties involved in the projects such as consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers, and local authorities etc to ensure successful implementation of the project.
• Conduct site testing for M&E installation at site
• Coordinate and arrange for commissioning of project equipment
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment faults after project handover
• Provide operational and maintenance manual and user training to customers
• Maintain control of all project documentation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in building construction industry
• Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to data centre construction.
• Keen to learn, possess positive attitude and able to work independently
• Competent in MS Excel and Words
