Job summary

DOVRE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior engineer to drive the technical delivery of fluid pumping and aeration systems in Singapore.

You will oversee equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting with a strong focus on safety and schedule adherence. With a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and hands-on site exposure, you will review technical drawings, perform hydraulic analyses, and coordinate with suppliers and clients to ensure robust system

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with fluid pumping or related fields.
• Experience with pumps, blowers, aerators, diffusers and associated equipment.
• Strong technical and practical site experience with project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of pumping and aeration system projects within budgets and schedules.
• Review drawings to select pumps, blowers, aerators, diffusers, and equipment.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, system curves and pressure losses.
• Prepare technical specs, datasheets, requisitions and scopes of work.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and perform technical bid comparisons.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and clients on delivery, testing and queries.
• Supervise installation activities and mechanical/electrical interfaces.
• Lead commissioning and performance testing to meet operating requirements.
• Diagnose issues with flow, cavitation, vibration, or aeration efficiency.
• Conduct root cause investigations and recommend improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and handover documentation.
• Provide guidance to engineers, technicians and operations staff.

Role Overview

Responsible for the technical delivery of fluid pumping and aeration systems, covering equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience , with strong technical expertise and practical site experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of pumping and aeration system projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, budgets, schedules and safety requirements.
• Review process requirements and engineering drawings to select suitable pumps, blowers, aerators, diffusers and associated equipment.
• Perform or review hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, system curves, pressure losses and aeration capacity requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications, equipment datasheets, procurement requisitions and scopes of work.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, conduct technical bid comparisons and recommend equipment based on performance, reliability, energy efficiency and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and clients on equipment delivery, installation, testing and technical queries.
• Supervise installation activities, including piping connections, alignment, mechanical interfaces and coordination of electrical and control systems.
• Lead commissioning, start-up and performance testing to verify that systems meet specified operating requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving inadequate flow or pressure, cavitation, vibration, seal failures, air distribution, blower performance and aeration efficiency.
• Conduct root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions and system improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, commissioning records, operating procedures and handover documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, technicians and operations personnel.
