Senior Project Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer to join our team at Aluminium Offshore Pte Ltd in the Jurong East West Region. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of our engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the planning, scheduling and execution of complex engineering projects from start to finish

• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

• Identify and mitigate project risks, and implement effective risk management strategies

• Prepare detailed project reports, including status updates, cost analyses, and progress forecasts

• Manage project milestone invoicing, track payment schedules, and follow up on outstanding payments, coordinating with the finance team to maintain clear and up-to-date records

• Provide technical expertise and support to project stakeholders, including clients and external partners

• Continuously seek opportunities to improve project management processes and drive operational efficiencies

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Project Engineer, preferably in the engineering or construction industries

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on time and within budget

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex issues

• Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

• Certification in Project Management (PMP) is highly desirable
