Role Overview
We seek a proactive Senior Project Engineer to drive technical projects from concept to completion. Working closely with the Head of Engineering and cross-functional teams, you’ll manage high-impact initiatives in a lean, dynamic setting. This role demands hands-on expertise, adaptability, and a willingness to travel globally to support project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects across all phases (design, prototyping, testing, and implementation).
Manage project deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Support global project delivery through site visits, fabrication oversight, and installation.
Prepare and manage engineering documents, drawings, and schedules.
Handle vendor engagement, including sourcing of components and services, supplier evaluation, and negotiation.
Collaborate with internal teams such as sales and operations.
Oversee procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Interface with contractors and regulatory agencies as needed.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, project reports, and updates.
Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, codes, and safety requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
5+ years of relevant experience in Electrical and Instrumentation systems for chemical, petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries.
Proficiency in field instrumentation (flowmeters, control valves, level, pressure) and electrical/control systems.
Strong project management and technical problem-solving skills.
Experience working with vendors and handling sourcing or procurement tasks.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a lean setup.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Comfortable with hybrid/remote work arrangements.
Travel (global) is required for fabrication, site visits, and installation.
Knowledge in aviation industry such as EI/JIG standards is a plus.
